Word add-ins require the ".docx" format. If you have a ".doc" file, then the Word add-in buttons will be gray and disabled. Unfortunately, Microsoft does not provide any helpful information other than disabling the add-in.
If you have a .doc file, please save it as a .docx file to use our add-in.
For figures, Powerpoint files must be .pptx (not .ppt) and Visio files must be .vsdx (not .vsd).
