At the moment, Patent Bots supports two Gen AI models: Llama 3 and Claude Sonnet. Customers who signed up before May 29, 2026 will have Llama 3 set by default while for new clients subscribed after May 29 the model will default to Claude Sonnet. In both cases, though, the subscription admin can update the Gen AI model by taking these steps:
- Login to Patent Bots via our website using Sign In and then Sign in with work email.
- Once logged in, from the Patent Bots homepage select subscription page from the Account tile:
- Once on the Subscription Admin page, from the Settings tab use the dropdown to change the Gen AI model.
- Then select Update Subscription Settings to save the change.
Note: If you are not sure who is your subscription admin, go to your Account Page and you will find all the admins listed under My Info section.
