If we are not finding your claims, please consider the following:

• In patent applications, we look for the header "Claims" or a paragraph similar to "What is claimed is" as the indicator for when the claims start. If this is missing, then we won't be able to find your claims.
• Occasionally, we have trouble extracting automated numbering from Word documents.  If this appears to be happening, please get in touch and we should be able to fix this.  We recommend that you don't use Word automated numbering and instead use manual renumbering along with our automated claim renumbering tool!
